Passwordless sign-in

Nels uses TOTP (time-based one-time passwords) — the same standard banks and cloud providers use. Sign in with Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or any standard authenticator app. There are no passwords to forget or to leak in a breach.

Your data

Your budget data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere). We never sell your data and we don't build advertising profiles. To answer your questions, Nels sends the relevant budget data to a third-party AI provider (currently Google's Gemini) purely to generate a response — never for advertising, and never sold. Collaboration you can audit

Share budgets with view, edit, or owner permissions. Every change is recorded in an audit log, so there are no surprises about who changed what.
